“La nueva ola de añil” follows residents of Oaxacan town Niltepec—whose name means Cerro del Añil or Indigo Hill—and the process of alchemizing the mesmerizing blue pigment known as añil from the jiquilite plant (Indigofera tinctoria).

I created original music and sound design for “La nueva ola de añil (The New Indigo Wave)”, a short documentary by visual artist for Arts Everywhere.

It was selected as part of The Vieques Film and Human Rights Festival (FCDHV) 2026 edition, Memorias del Aqua here︎︎︎.

Also selected as part of Tribeca Film Festival 2025 and Sante Fe International Film Festival.
